Traits that All Succuessful People Have
As I was looking over the picture above, I noticed certain things on the successful people side that were very important to being successful. This things include embracing change, keep a job journal and they never want to stop learning.
What is important about embracing change is that they are used to the idea of doing new things that are unfamiliar to them. They like the idea to trying new things and wanting to succeed in different ways. You will hardly see a successful person in their field that doesn't embrace change with a positive attitude and always go about things with a positive attitude. If they don't embrace change in any way, they will not be as successful in their field as they normally would be. Successful people always embrace change with open arms and always look forward to the future and what it is possible for them to do. They are always looking for change and they don't back away or run away from it whenever something new pops up that could change their whole world.
Along with embracing change, always want to be learning is something that all successful people do. For example look at Lebron James, not only was he extremely successful in this basketball career, he is looking to pursue a career in the technology industry. He doesn't want to stop learning in any way and he wants to expand his knowledge into a field that he doesn't know all that well. This is why you'll always see some of the most successful people always expanding their knowledge and going back to school and starting something new.
Another hobby that all successful people do is keep a journal that helps them track their progress as they move through the process of their work. This is important to being successful because this helps them keep track of their work and they can take notes as they are going through the motions to get their work done. The more they practice, the more they work hard for their end goal, the better the final project for them will be.
The harder people work for what they want and what they really care about the more successful they will be in their field. If they are really passionate about what exactly they are working on, they will be successful if they have the motivation and the effort to complete it. All of the successful people in the world all have common traits that make them successful, and they same goes for unsuccessful people. People that are alike all share common traits in the way that make them they way they are.

This I Believe
The other day I saw a Facebook post about how Rangeview and Gateway High Schools are planning on removing the business department in their schools. My personal problem with this is that how do you expect the kids that aren't athletic or committed to the theater at all to get involved in everything? Do you expect them to get into trouble?
As a member of the FBLA, I learned everything I needed to by taking classes in the business department, and without it I probably would be getting into a lot more trouble. My biggest problem with this is how do you expect any of us to get involved in the school and be apart of something that isn't for the school. How do you expect students to learn how to having confidence when giving presentations or how to learn manage in the business world.
The GIF to the left, is probably the best representation of how all of us students that are in the business program reacted to hearing that some of our peers that we compete against will no longer have the ability to compete along side us anymore.
FBLA has given me the chance of a lifetime. My partner and I competed in the event, “Business Financial Plan” and we have qualified for state which is to be held in Vail, CO in April 2016. As freshmen, it is a huge accomplishment to have qualified for state. Without the help of all of the business teachers and the business department, I wouldn’t be apart of this amazing club that has given me so many experiences already and will have more to come in the next three years at Cherokee Trail High School.
When I first joined FBLA, I was told that it wasn’t cool and that it wouldn’t be fun, but I believe that I probably wouldn’t enjoy high school as much if I didn’t do it. In FBLA I have found a family that I know that I can always rely on and I know that they will always be there for me.
Only in FBLA is where you can learn valuable skills that you can take and use in a career in your future. Sure in sports you learn how to work as a team and how to work hard, but in FBLA you learn valuable skills that the students can use in any career they choose to pursue. The leadership skills and the business knowledge is extremely important to any career, especially one in the business field.
Being in FBLA, you have the abilities to get scholarship for certain schools with the business majors that are competition events in the club. Because of the business programs in high school, it’s giving students a chance to go to college that they wouldn’t be able to other wise.
This business program should be in high schools. It changes lives of so many students and gives them an opportunity to feel welcome and like they belonged. There are business schools all across the state of Colorado, such as; Colorado State University, the University of Colorado, and Northern Colorado.
I believe that

The Way Social Media Changes Our Lives
Social Media has taken over our lives in the last 5-10 years. Now, everyone is obsessed with posting selfies, posting pictures of their food, and the way they look to those soon to be followers. You can't lie that you check your Facebook feed at least five times a day because you have nothing better to do and you want to know what is happening with all of your friends and family. I even have to admit that I have Facebook and Twitter open as I am writing this, just so when I lose focus I check that and see what is happening. We have to see where everyone checks in and what every one posts pictures about and who it is they're with; but honestly most of the time we just get bored and that it's a force of habit for us to look at it and we honestly can't break it.
Business Opportunities brings up the idea that breaking news will actually come out on Twitter before it will on cable TV. More people will go to Twitter and Facebook for the news now instead of the TV where everyone got their information 10 years ago. Most people will wake up and check their feeds to see what happened in the world and what all they missed in the last twelve hours. Some day we will all have to admit that we are addicted to our social media and that there is nothing that they can really do honestly.
Phys Org points out that sense most of the people that vote, look stuff up on their social media, so all of the presidential candidates all have a Twitter account to get in touch with the voters to help get them into office.
